Not Red Wine, Neither White Wine, but Rose Wine

In general, wines are categorized into two sorts, namely red and white. But, there is one in between, it is called Rose wine. It is named so because the color of it is not really red. It has a small amount of red color. So, it looks more like reddish, and whitish. Actually, the color of wine depends so much on the grapes’ colors. Some wines can look purple, pink, and even orange. And, in wineries, Rose wines are made differently, depending on the expected results. But, in order to make the real Rose wine itself, the red grapes have to be crushed earlier. Rose wines have a very unique blend between red and white wines. For the flavor and character, rose wine tends to be like white wine. But, the color is really close to red wine.Mixing and Matching Wines into One
Rose wine is produced by crushing red grapes little earlier, but in the past, people commonly like to make it simpler. They often mixed both red and white wines. So, once they poured a white wine into their glasses, they will add red wine little bit into it.
However, after a time, this did not work that way anymore, as wine lovers did not really agree with the taste of the expected result. It is because the red wine seems to dominate the result. The characters of red wine remain, but the white ones do not really retain. Hence, making Rose wine from real early-crushed grapes will produce the best result.
Though, Rose wine possesses the characters of both red and white wines, it does have its own unique character. This type of wine is a lot simpler, compared to either heavy white or red wine. However, this is definitely influenced by the regions where the rose wine is made and served.
For example, typical American Rose wines taste sweet, but, it will be pretty dry if you taste the Rose wines of European countries in general.
